We’re based in the Consett area, easily accessible for customers across County Durham and surrounding areas.

Units range from 16 sq ft to 150 sq ft, all with around 2 m head height. We can help you choose the right size for what you need to store.

Standard access is:

  • Monday–Thursday: 9 am – 5 pm

  • Friday: 9 am – 4 pm
  • Saturday: 9 am – 12 pm (by appointment)

(For 24/7 access units — no notice required.)

You can generally access you unit same day just book a slot online or by phone before visiting, as we have one shared loading bay.

All our storage units are indoor. Corridors are lit for safe access, though individual units don’t have their own lighting.

The site has 24/7 CCTV monitored  and fully alarmed for your peace of mind.

Only the people named on your agreement can access your storage unit.

Each unit is secured with your own padlock, and you keep the key — we don’t hold copies.

You cannot store flammable materials, gas, fuel, food, or anything illegal or any perishable goods.

You can either use your own insurance policy or choose our Store Protect policy for convenience.

Note we will need a copy of your policy before you move in

 

If you take our store protect policy this is sold on a monthly basis and can be increased and decreased as necessary.

Yes — all units are clean, dry, and well-maintained.

Only authorised people listed on your agreement.

You’ll need to book a time slot unless your unit has 24/7 access.

Bring photo ID and proof of tenancy, and we’ll help remove and replace the lock safely.

Yes — ideal for students, contractors, or anyone needing short-term space while away.

We don’t provide removal services, but we can recommend local movers if needed.

Yes — many businesses use our units for storing tools, materials, stock, and documents.

Yes, as long as they’re named on your agreement.

Yes — however you are required to be in attendance as we do not hold any keys for your unit.

Yes, some units come with 24/7 unrestricted access.

No — the units are for storage only, they do not have lighting or power so theyre not for not active work, trading, or manufacturing.

No — No this business is not VAT registered however invoices are available for all business customers.

Absolutely — as your business changes, you can adjust to a different unit size if available.

The first month is paid upfront by card, and monthly payments continue by Direct Debit on the 1st of each month (unless agreed otherwise).

No deposit — just your first month’s payment upfront.

The minimum stay is 2 weeks, with a 2-week notice period when leaving. You can book a unit up to 2 weeks before needing it.

Yes — our flexible terms allow both short and long-term storage.

Missed payments may restrict access until your account is up to date. Contact us early if there’s a problem so we can help.

Yes, you can move to a larger or smaller unit if availability allows.

Yes, you’ll receive email confirmation and can request invoices if needed.
